Getting Started

Thank you for your purchase of a Crystal Clear lighter. Please follow these instructions to prepare and use your lighter safely.

 

First, the lighter needs to be filled. You may use any lighter fluid of your choosing. Tilt and hold the lighter so the bottom faces up. Remove the filler cap from the bottom of the lighter. Carefully fill the tank with fluid and replace the cap.

With the filler cap secured, tilt and hold the lighter so that the bottom faces down. Depress the button on the side of the lighter a couple of times to prime it before use.

Once again, tilt and hold the lighter so the bottom faces up. Depress the button on the side of the lighter a few more times to complete the priming process. (Note: When the lighter is new, you may have to complete the two priming steps a few times.)

Now your lighter is prepared for use.

To use your lighter, tilt and hold the lighter so that the bottom faces down. Open the hinged lid to expose the ignitor. Use the thumbwheel to strike a flame. Close the hinged lid to put out the flame.
